So, for our WIO Summer challenge our current challenge was to read 14 ways to change your walking, try 3 ideas, and blog about it.
I dusted off one of my WATP DVD's. So this is something a little different to my current exercise routine. It has been awhile since I did this DVD (5 miles Fat Burning Walk). One of the ideas in the article was to change up your routine which I definitely did.
This DVD added the elements of Power Walking, changing speeds, changing directions, and also changing stride lengths. Who knew one little DVD could mix up a walking routine so much. It felt great. I don't know why I don't use this DVD more often. Talk about feel the burn. Even better I burned off over 400 calories in the hour long workout.
