Thursday I ended up with over 13000 steps for the day! Part of that was the 40 minutes on the treadmill, part was a walk around the block with the dogs. After bringing them home (the boston terrier can't walk more that a block), I noticed a was about 300 steps from the next 1000 (I use the fitbit to record my steps, wear it all day). So I went back out in the drizzle with my umbrella and walked about a mile. Felt good.
Today I'm not walking, although I may take the dogs out later, depending on the weather. I've learned not to walk every day due to arthritis. Two days in a row may be okay, but it works best for me to not walk every day. I pulled out the Wii Gold's Gym Dance and did some of that this afternoon. No, my dancing isn't perfect, but who cares? It's fun and I'm getting some cardio done. I wouldn't do the Gold's Gym Dance if anyone was at home! But when it's just me, it doesn't matter how good or bad I do the moves!
My eating is going well. Smaller amounts, thinking about healthy choices, although I do a couple of not so healthy ones. But baby steps in all things! I'm feeling good and looking forward to making more healthy choices the rest of today.
