Support Your Goal.

To Support our primary goal (optimal health), we do things we wouldn’t otherwise do, like exercising or eating right. We may not always like doing these things, but we like where they get us!

****** Now I wish I was doing this better in my own life but it is true and I need to focus on it so I'm sharing it with you :-)

Today is my 5 year wedding Anniversary. I was not happy with my weight when I got married and I am heavier and more out of shape. My birthday is 3 months away. If I got serious, I could look fabulous by my 48th Birthday. It would feel great to feel and look good by then...AND to be moving into the Holidays looking great! I think I will put my eyes on Sept 12th, My Birthday and actively work to slowly lose weight and become more fit by then. What if your "event" that motivates you and helps you make the healthier food choice or more active day?

    Happy 5th Anniversary! As for your goals - I think slow and steady - consistent action is what leads to success. Lord knows my progress has been slow. I will be celebrating my 6 year SP anniversary at the end of July and had hoped to be at goal weight, but now I'm aiming to get into 140ville (currently struggling with another plateau stagge between 150vill and 160ville). I hope to reach my 30lbs mark by the end of this month but it means hard work (no cheating, less booze and more exercise). I do believe the work will be worth it!!

We can do this!!

Great message and I can so relate to what you are sharing. (Thank you)My first goal and event date is going to be July 4th because I will be going over to my son's house. My daughter in-law is Asian and we always have these huge parties at their home with both families and some friends. I am typically the heaviest female when I attend and I am always uncomfortable about my weight. I know I will feel a lot better about my body image if I stay on program and drop a few pounds before than. I have a cute summer dress picked out and so my goal is to lose 10 pounds before the event. Since this is my first day on Medifast it should be a goal that is attainable.
