I'm not sure exactly what it was, but something with the low-slung body and sharply curved and narrow neck/head of a loon or cormernt was at the foot of the dam when I walked past today.

Also, the geese and their goslings--now leggily adolescent--were out, and helpfully shed a couple of feathers that I collected to cut into pens.
