The Smell of Sweet Success

Thursday, June 07, 2012

What an incredible story I have to tell of my walk today -- about a year or so ago I told a lovely gentleman at work about Spark People and encouraged him to join. He did but has not been active on the site. However, I also recommended that he get some walking shoes and that he join me to walk at lunch...he has been doing a great job of walking. But we don't walk together as my pace is darned near a run at this point - lol

Anyway, he did catch up with me today to sit with me at lunch and I talked about my Beauty Society venture and how excited I am about it. After a while he asked me if the fragrance he was smelling might be one of the products and I said that it was, the perfume is called Success. I laughed and explained that it was what first drew me in to learn more about the products at a charity event I attended where I first learned of the products. He said he really liked it and could he buy it from me for his wife!

OMG! I realize that I do neglect the men out there when I invite people to my facial parties and I do forget that men are married to women who they love and like to lavish with gifts. What was I thinking?

So I made a sale at lunch - with out intending to in the slightest bit. Ah, the Sweet Sweet smell of Success!

And it is an amazing fragrance - I agree with him!!

Ah, the lightbulb moment. I can hear the fears turning in your head all the way across the country.
Congrats on the unexpected sale and here is to many more.

Congrats on your sale! Those men tend to be forgotten sometimes! And at least he thinks it smells good!
