I was updating my status for the day and noticed my "Goals" at the bottom of my Sparkpage...Wow, I had forgotten they were there. They are still my goals.
1. Eat Healthy - doing that for the most part - always can do better though.
2. Lose Weight - lost some but not nearly there yet
3. Exercise - check - (not quite as much lately but...)
And then there was #4...
4. Get Rid of the Clutter
The thing I haven't been doing is getting rid of the clutter. Wow. That one hit me smack dab in the face. It is SO time to focus on that one.
I just recently took a major job-related exam (and passed - WooHoo!!!) Studying for it took a lot of time. That together with some volunteer stuff I am doing and all the kid's stuff going on, the clutter mounted... I did focus on food because I didn't want to let everything go and I managed to stay the same weight through it all BUT, I haven't exercised regularly, my house is a mess, I can't say that all of the winter clothes or the too small for the kids clothes are dealt with yet, my flowers aren't planted and, and, and ... there is clutter everywhere!
I don't have to spend all the hours studying for a while and the volunteer thing is under control for a bit. I am really looking forward to using that time. My only problem is trying to figure out which one comes first. (Big aha moment...) Make a list! I used to do that and somewhere they went away. Why I don't know - probably because it got lost in the clutter.
The benefit of getting the clutter out will be a huge mental one - feeling free to go work out, enjoy time with the family, relax without having the mental drain of looking at all of it. Plus, activity burns energy (calories) so perhaps it will be all the better!
