Day 6 of a 10 day Challenge

Thursday, June 07, 2012

A very long day 3:15am until 9:45 pm. It was the last day of school and a blasted Union meeting . We had a huge turn out to VOTE on language to save my JOB. YES!!!!! I will still be employed next year ! The layoff was over turned. A very log and stressful day. I am sure you will see that in all of my challenges and comments

Thank you for supporting me over the last 6 days. The last 4 days should be the easiest knowing that I am home for the next 8 weeks! I can't wait to set new goals for the summer!

1. Walk at least 6,000 steps a day and reach for 10,000 / 9651 steps today. I was really reaching for that 10,000 but I was too tired when I got home to get the last 400 steps.

2. Log all food consumed on the food tracker daily / completed and modified. I set my tracker and packed both dinner and lunch. I did NOT eat all of my lunch Split French fries with a friend and then came home at 8:30 pm and ate dinner again! Ughhh.

3. Take meds and record blood pressure readings daily / took meds and BP is 132/95, can I hope that this BP will go down now that I am officially on SUMMER break!

4. Pack my lunch everyday/ or eat at home NO FAST FOOD / Packed YES but I did not eat it all...I crumbled and had fries today...Extra crispy with no salt. I have disappointed my self on this one

5.Check in with Spark People at least once a day. Completed but I am a few hours late blogging yesterdays results.

thank heavens the stress over your job is gone!

ya know, with all the progress you've made so far, don't be meanie to yourself over a few french fries ....... you can be mean to yourself if a few turns into a lot of fries!

    proud of you Paula!

Hip, hip, horrah to your job being saved!!!! Now that the stress is behind you I know you will be even stronger than ever. You are already the lady of steel.

You are so honest too. I say you have to have a few fries sometimes, right?

Relax and enjoy the eight weeks off.
