WEIGHT: Down a pound. Eating OK, but I still fall into the TV grazing trap. Eating after 7pm while watching the tube. New short term goals: No eating after 6:30pm, drink water, and keep a resistance band as close as the remote control.
EXERCISE: Walking. Today is a turtle jog day. I will go to the Sports Park and jog around the the different ball fields, jog the bases, jog goal to goal, wherever my feet's take me.
MENTAL EXERCISE: Leave tomorrow for a five hour drive to a wedding. It'll be happening pretty much in the middle of nowhere Kansas (there's a lot of nowhere in Kansas). The motel I'll be in does have an exercise room. Taking my workout kit and resistance bands just in case.
SPIRITUAL EXERCISE: I like wearing my motivation logo t-shirts to work out in. One of my favorite is 'Another Damn Day to Just Do It!'. I saw a young kid out running and I noticed his shirt. It was part of a verse from the bible, 'To run and not be weary'. I tried to catch up with him to ask where he got the shirt, but he, without any effort, out ran me.
REFLECTION: I'm wasting a lot of precious time worrying about too many tomorrows (distractions). I honestly need to just STOP and do with Today the best I can. When one of my tomorrows becomes a yesterday, then I might worry about it. Not!
