Today was my first day of the 5 day fast forward. I am such a picky eater that I was really scared for today, and as it turned out I wasn't able to follow it exactly because I just couldn't handle the extreme taste.
Breakfast: 1 scrambled egg and 1 cup of spinach with side of raspberries and sliced almonds (The egg to spinach ratio freaked me out once I measured out 1 cup, so I added another egg and it was still very spinachy! Tomorrow I'll be sure to cut up the spinach even smaller and will add an egg white)
Lunch: yogurt parfait with raspberries and sliced almonds (I did not like the plain yogurt AT ALL, it is very sour and strange tasting even with the raspberries mixed in. Luckily I had some strawberry banana yogurt as back up and I tried to scoop out all the berries and nuts and mix it in with my yogurt.)
Dinner: spinach salad with egg raspberries and sliced almonds (Honestly this was the last thing I wanted to eat. The thought of eating 2 cups of spinach after today was so unappetizing I decided to eat my raspberries first, and then I had some chicken and almonds. I know straying fromt he fast forward plan will effect my results, but honestly I'm not going to eat things I absolutely don't want or like.)
Snack: yogurt and raspberry smoothie with almond butter (After switching up dinner I figured I better give this a go, OMG I don't know who in their right mind would eat this!!! It was sooooooooooo gross. I dumped it out and just had another yogurt. Bleh disgusting and such a waste of raspberries :( )
So I didn't have the best first day, but I didn't completely give up and have peanut butter toast like I was craving so badly either. If I weren't trying to loose weight fast, I wouldn't do the fast forward just because I don't enjoy the foods on the list. On the bright side, my sister is giving it a go too, (we're both bridesmaids in our brother's wedding this August), so I have someone to lean on when it gets tough and I am eyeing the bread box.
