I had made a commitment to walk every day for 21 days. I got soooo close 17 days down and to much happening today to do it.
Had a lot of running around to do during the day and was going to do it tonight, but the storms were bad. I know I've walked in bad weather before (and actually even prefer it some), but this is really bad. I saw a tornado. Couldn't have been more than two miles away. Totally freaked me out, think I'm staying in tonight.

I'll restart my counter. :(

I just wanted you to know that your blogs inspired me to start my own walking streak. So far, I'm on day 3.

I'm sorry you broke your streak, but 17 days is a heckuva good start--and nothing to be ashamed of! Do you have stairs in your house? If so, you can set a timer and go up and down the stairs for 10 minutes.

Here we go--Day 1, right?

You know I think a tornado definitely counts as a valid excuse not to walk outside. On the brighter side you weren't only going to do it for 21 days anyway were you? So just see the 17 days as a warm up maybe. Or double up tomorrow? Either way be proud of what you've done so far. Tornadoes come into the 'Act of God' category, which you can't do much about.
