I feel I have fully adapted to my Ketogenic lifestyle. I can sniff out carbs from a mile away, I constantly read labels, I make decisions everyday without even thinking. It's all become second nature and I feel that it is truly my lifestyle not just some gimmick diet. My scale has been broken for weeks, but I think I will be happy when I buy a new one next week :) I did my first set of measurements today and lost 2 inches off my waist. I was so disappointed when I saw that, but after a google search I'm fairly confident that it's a more than an acceptable loss.
Now that I have become accustomed to making good food choices I need to focus on curbing my appetite and keeping my calorie count at a deficit. I have a huge problem with snacking. Now that I have good choices in my house it's not an issue for gaining weight, but if I want to lose anymore weight I will have to watch my intake. I think I may turn to a 20/4 IF since I have been slacking on my 16/8. It's all about discipline and I know I have it somewhere in me.
On a side note, after almost 4 years I got a job last month! Then a week later I got another one :) One less thing I have to worry about. Money has been so tight and my SO is so supportive, I couldn't have made it without him! Now maybe I can take HIM out to dinner and a movie without counting our change jar
