My husband and I recently bought ourselves the Fitbit to track our activity level. Now we periodically text each other with the amount of steps we've walked to urge each other on.
Due to my new toy, I'm really getting motivated to impliment more activity into my day. Yesterday I took the stairs to a meeting on the 17th floor. I started on the 2nd floor and walked up and then down after the meeting. I also did my usual walk around the park. It felt really good to know that I reached and exceeded the 10,000 step goal.
My legs are a little sore this morning but it feels like proof of a job well done.
Here's to no more elevators.
