Paleo Me Day 5: A short but yummy visit to Carbville

Workout - STS Disc 3 & 2 mile walk through town.

Remember when I said that my hubby and I were bad for each other when it comes to descending into carbville?  Well our walk through town kinda, sorta resulted in a VISIT to carbville, not a decent.  The one decent restaurant in our town has these famous Philly Cheesesteak fries that we never tried and, well, we..... WELL THEY HAD STEAK ON TOP SO IT WAS KINDA PALEO.  

Anyway, it was yummy and made for the end of a nice outing. Of course I was so carb drunk by the time I got home that I fell asleep before making this entry so here it is.

    haha! all my hubs eats is carbs n meat.. I dont eat meat.. and now no/low carbs.. its kinda hard.
but I'm tryin, that's what matters right?

    I succumbed to pork chops with mustard-cream sauce (not bad so far) and mashed potatoes--twice! Feelin' kinda blah. In the past I have had carb comas where I just sorta passed out, but that requires more carbs, I think. Oh, and there was some popcorn...not one of my better days. Be glad you enjoyed it, at least.

    I'm glad to hear that you had a chance to try the fries...and you enjoyed yourself. I love the after-effect description so much I'm going to have to borrow it...carb drunk. It fits so well with the feeling I get when I step off my path as well. For me, it's always a good reminder why I'm on this journey and how much better I feel when I am. emoticon

    I have a hard enough time eating clean! My weakness is the sugar!(although those carbs get me too!) Good luck!
