Hello everyone! Hope you all are doing well!
So June started off great! My MIL called to take my cubs on Saturday so they can watch a Harry Potter movie. My cubs had no interest in seeing the movies or reading the books until last year. My MIL loved the books, so she told my oldest after he was done reading a book, they'd watch the movie. Well they have been waiting for her, but she's always busy, so she finally had time, so she "fit" them in. Anywho, that meant Date night for hubby and I! I was very excited. It was pouring, so we couldn't really do much, but we still had a wonderful time!
We drove up to a restaurant we love... this little pasta place no bigger then some ones two stall garage... and they were closed! It's a family runned place, so when they go on vacation, it's closed. We were very bummed, but what can you do. We ended up at Olive Garden... not as yummy, but still pasta. They Hubby loves "Goodwill" so we went there and then headed home for getting things done around the house and to meet the in-laws who were dropping off the cubs before they went to Saturday mass. It was a great time with hubby!
This Friday coming up will be hubby and I's wedding anniversary... 16 years! We don't have money to go places, trips, vacations, but we enjoy the little times we have together! I'm sure we'll go out again Friday... maybe that Pasta place again... they are done vacation on June 7th... hee hee.
Okay, so the week so far has been busy! Between PT for my youngest cub and signing up my oldest son for HS soccer tryouts it's been busy. I just hope he makes the team. If not, not sure what he'll do. Last year he tried out and didn't make it. He took it pretty hard, but at lease he'll know how it is this time. He's really good at it, but not on the Town's Travel teams, so that SADLY matters (who you know... so stupid and unfair!)
Hope you all have a wonderful day! I have to get back to work and get this house cleaned up! Oh BTW, I have been doing my favorite... organizing! These past days, the bathroom closet! Labeling bins and getting rid of old stuff! A little bit each day and it'll get done, hee hee.
Have a good day!
