What to do after a Half Marathon?

So, I've been training for months for this spring's events, running five times per week, and feel like I'm in the best shape of my life. I had a great run yesterday, and a relaxing day of recovery and eating (including a substantial t-bone steak). But I have been neglecting something very important to me, and I did it today for the first time in a year. To be sure that I would stay still and just allow myself to recover, I went to the blood donor clinic to share some of my good stuff with someone who needs it in their time of crisis. I was thrilled to learn that my hemoglobin is higher than I've ever seen it measured (145), so I don't think I'll even miss that pint.

Do you celebrate by giving?

    Haha, no full at this point! Donating a pint is a good excuse to sit still, watch the hockey playoffs and raise a pint of Guinness with my non-poked arm!

    Wow, what a lovely way to celebrate! (I lived in England in the 90s, so I can't donate anymore. Mad Cow fears.)

And here I thought you were going to say something like the way to celebrate a half... is to train for a full! LOL!
