It's been a couple weeks and I have to say they have not been good. Seems like I have had non-stop guests and traveling to see family equals lots of bad food choices, which I full am responsible for. So on Saturday I did a restart on my exercise and healthy eating program. I live at the top of a fairly good sized hill and decided it was time to walk it, let me tell you my behind and legs were screaming by the time I was done, but it felt really good to get out and get my sweat on. After making breakfast and showering, I went to the local fruit stand, to stock up on the weeks worth of fruits and veggies, got the sweetest watermelon so far this year. Sitting at my desk this morning I have a bunch of bananas and a huge honey crisp apple for snacking on and of course my half gallon of water, the goal is to drink two of those before I go home today. I did drag my laziness out of bed at 4:30 this morning to hit the gym. It's all about making the time for myself and the right food choices, I definitely do better when I've gone to the gym in the morning, I would hate to waste that by eating crap. So here's to another restart on this never ending journey to become healthier and get some of the weight off for good, it's a struggle but I have the ability to stick with it and do it. I've already lost 30lbs since I started this journey, what's another 60 more???? Lots of hard work and sweat for starters.
