Tired...

One of my team challenges focuses on physical needs, and my personal challenge is to get enough sleep, which for me has always been 8 hours. I have been focusing on this the last week. But it is a struggle. One night I was in bed by 10:30pm, only to wake up exactly 6 hours later. So I got up and quietly did stuff around the house so the kids wouldn't wake up. At 5:15 am, my 10 year old woke up and wondered what I was doing wide awake working in my living room.
So the next night I tried going to bed at 11:30, and woke up 6 hours later...
The rest of last week, no matter what time I went to bed, I woke up 6 or 7 hours later. Granted, I have preparing for an important project, and I wake up ready to work, with all my ideas and last minute prep! So it is no wonder I get up so early.

We all needed a break, so this weekend we went family camping, and I finally slept one night for 8 hours. Last night I woke up many many times, so now I am so tired I am ready to go to bed right this minute at 8:30pm,
unfortunately, I have to get kids to go as well LOL!

I want to sleep in on my own cool sheets and pillows....and I think I could get 8 hours of sleep, no problem!

    Note: I slept from 9:30pm to 5:30am, which was nice! Of course, tonight I am still going at 11:30pm, but I am now logging off to get some sleep. Maybe I need to work on consistent bed times?!?!

    I think I remember reading somewhere that everyone's body has a different sleep requirement. I would say that if you wake up after 6 or 7 that maybe your body has it's fill.....from what I remember it's more about the routine. I, myself, hit the hay around 11:30 (if I'm not working the 2nd job) and I'm up at 7:15, not by choice. I'd LOVE if my body would just say "okay, let's get this thing started" rather than listening to the stupid buzzer. You're lucky in that aspect!!!!

    emoticon If only it was as easy a glass of Warm Milk! Getting enough sleep can be a huge challenge, but it is important enough to keep working at finding a way to get your ZZZZ's in.

    Sleep is so important. I have also been struggling with sleep for the past few weeks. One of my problems is that the birds keep waking me up between 4 and 5am. Then I've have 5 or 6 hours of sleep and my mind is racing with all the things I have to do at work. So annoying. I hope regular full nights sleeps are soon yours.
