One of my team challenges focuses on physical needs, and my personal challenge is to get enough sleep, which for me has always been 8 hours. I have been focusing on this the last week. But it is a struggle. One night I was in bed by 10:30pm, only to wake up exactly 6 hours later. So I got up and quietly did stuff around the house so the kids wouldn't wake up. At 5:15 am, my 10 year old woke up and wondered what I was doing wide awake working in my living room.
So the next night I tried going to bed at 11:30, and woke up 6 hours later...
The rest of last week, no matter what time I went to bed, I woke up 6 or 7 hours later. Granted, I have preparing for an important project, and I wake up ready to work, with all my ideas and last minute prep! So it is no wonder I get up so early.
We all needed a break, so this weekend we went family camping, and I finally slept one night for 8 hours. Last night I woke up many many times, so now I am so tired I am ready to go to bed right this minute at 8:30pm,
unfortunately, I have to get kids to go as well LOL!
I want to sleep in on my own cool sheets and pillows....and I think I could get 8 hours of sleep, no problem!
