Great day! I started by cooking my family a big breakfast. My husband's only day off is Sunday; I do a full breakfast and only eat my portion. Then I taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and worshiped the Lord in spirit and in truth.
What really great about going to a tiny church in the country:
1. You get lots of jobs
2. People notice when you are away
3. Intimate friendships develop
4. You can meet and greet in a short period of time
5. It's not far from home
6. You don't have trouble parking
&. You notice visitors readily.
And I could go on and on just like you could about your large church. Each one is a blessing to the members and community.
Most churches in our area don't have Sunday night services but ours has Women's Bible Study on Sunday afternoon and evening service. Great way to end the day.
Also because I really want to be available to serve the Lord for the rest of my laught, I thank God for the willingness to start managing my weight and exercise with Sparkpeople.
