I just got back from a trip to Colorado.

The mountains were so peaceful and calming to me... just breathtaking. I got to see the continental divide, framed between mountain ridges on either side. I took lots of pictures.

I'm home now and took extra days to spend in my garden, which I always find refreshing. I know, lots of work, but I like it and look at all the calories I'm burning!

Any way, the point of this blog is that I'm blessed to be able to do some traveling to see some very beautiful places. Some folks never leave there home state. I have been to Europe and Puerto Rico and most of the 50 states. Thank you Lord!!!

Have a great day!

I love Colorado also and totally agree that the mountains bring peace and serenity. I like to think it's because you are closer to heaven up there. It's so wonderful that you got to experience this and even better that you appreciate it so much. I'd love nothing better than getting away to the mountains of N. Carolina this hot sultry summer. I'm hoping it might be able to happen but with the consignment business it's really hard to tell. I feel like we should be there as much as possible for sales. Although...in the dead heat of summer there certainly aren't many. The locals just don't spend money...it's the snow birds that save Florida business and that's only 6 months out of the year. But at least most of the time...it's a GOOD 6 months.

Hugs to you dear friend! emoticon

Colorado, one of my favorite places. We lived there for about 12 years. Going to a wedding there at the end of the month.

I love to travel...& Colorado is a beautiful state. Stayed in Grand Junction a couple years ago...rode through Monument State Park...magnificent views, even if I do find heights a little disconcerting.

Enjoy your travel...& your garden.

Its so nice to see that you appreciate the traveling and have such an interest in your surroundings.
I have a cousin who was going to China and I asked her if she was excited about seeing the Great Wall. She replied that she was going for the shopping, who cares about a wall?
