Ok I have been on this for a quite a long time. Have tried dieting and exercising but what was missing was consistency and motivation. And then i was diagnosed with a Chronic Kidney disease and doctors told me how lucky I was to know this very early and i have very good chances of living a good life if i manage the lifestyle and lose some weight.
I was shattered but at the same time I have accepted its not matter of my like or dislike anymore its a necessity and i just joined a gym in February. I joined zumba and tried doing it on my own for 3 months but i didnt get desired results.
Now I have realised what works for me. strict diet certainly not. My body needs junk on regular basis but now I manage portions. I enjoy what I eat and no longer feel guilty to eat what i like. I have managed to do 80:20 rule for last month and I have also hired a personal trainer.
And its working! sensible normal eating and exercise is working.
From today I decided I will weigh myself every saturday and i did today and i have lost 1 kg this month and have lost 2.5 inches overall.
I know there are people who lose several pounds in a month and I also know i am not one of those and I am ok with it. Its like this an average student needs to work lot harder to achieve same results like a clever student. So I am an average sparker and loving all the hard work :)
