I've been complacent in my work out routine since mid-may. I went to Arizona for a week on vacation and, well, all dieting and exercising kind of flew out the window while I was there. We were just so excited to be there and would forget to eat then realize oh hey we're starving and I made bad food choices.
Luckily no weight was gained, but even after binging that whole week I figured when I got home I'd get right back into the swing of things...not so much. I think I have gone to the gym, maybe once since coming home the 22nd. I thought it was no big deal, but then I got the idea hey I haven't measured myself lately I wonder what they are. And hello gaining 2 inches back to my hips.
But this past week I began running in the neighborhood and going for walks with the guy. And yesterday I started 30 Day Shred...and Jillian Michaels does not mess around. I thought by the end of the workout yesterday I was going to die. But I did it again today, and even though I am sitting here pouring sweat I feel awesome. And hopefully on the 30th when I measure myself again I will have lost those 2 inches, maybe even more!
Here's to hoping I can keep motivated and keep going for the whole 30 days!
