Goal # 1: Getter better! LOL- well seriously, this upper respiratory infection has been kicking my butt for almost 2 weeks. I have not been able to do any serious exercises in that time either. I've had some days where I would go for a walk... but no power walking like I am used to. Also, at my job, I am on the 4th floor and I usually take the stairs. I cannot even do that hardly! I did do 30 minutes of Zumba for the first time today since getting sick and I felt like my lungs had literally fallen out of my body... so I am thinking too soon?
It is hard to make goals for actual weight loss because I don't know how much longer I am going to be sick and not be able to push myself. However, I started on May 1st weighing in at 330lbs.. I am 312 right now... so I am going to set my goal to getting to 299 by the end of the month. Of course, I will take more... but lets start small.
Eliminate sweets for the month of June. I find myself giving into a candy craving about once a week and luckily I have enough control to limit it to sugar free ice cream or a Milky Way Light candy bar. I know these things in moderation can be "okay" but I want to make it a month without it. Wish me luck!
Don't stop my water intake after 8 cups. I find myself drinking my "required" 8 cups then switching to my milk or green tea. I am still going to maintain at least 8 cups, but once I get that amount and I am still thirsty... I will still keep going with water. This will also help with the budget. No more stops at the store for green tea and sweets LOL.
Wish me luck :-) Starting off small with things I know I should be able to do without an issue!
