Ex-large to medium

Friday, June 01, 2012

I gave blood last weekend, got a cute tee-shirt. I felt super brave asking for the large shirt, because I'm usually a 1X, or extra large. I have been noticing my shirts are getting longer and longer. As a "Petite" at 5'1, I'm amazed at how much of a difference it makes in the shirt length. I am not losing scale weight right now but my body shape is changing a LOT! All my comfortable shirts are now long and baggy. The large tee I got for giving blood is long, I could have probably got the medium! Its a really difficult adjustment to look at shirts in a large to medium. I don't know how people who lose weight quickly adjust. My weight loss has been slow so the changes are not as jarring but they are still an adjustment.
A good one!

WOOHOOO congrats on smaller sizes. Thanks to you for donating blood there is such a need as Summer comes. The scale just does not know what is going on .

Woohoo! That sounds great. Nice job giving blood - and for the weight loss! I notice little things like that too sometimes and it definitely helps us to keep going!

Great job! The scale never tells the whole story.
