One year Progress

Friday, June 01, 2012

It has been one year since I got serious about losing weight and getting healthier.

I have gone from 250 to 227.6 so roughly around 22.5 pounds. a VERY slow process but glad I'm here.

I have gone from barely being able to do a 10 min chair workout and taking a 3-4 hour nap everyday to being able to exercise 1.5 hours and getting al the things done for the house . . . eventually.

I have found I DO need vitamins regardless of what people say. I need Vitamin D and B. I now have stamina. I can dance 6 min of drum solos w/o huffing and puffing.

I am a lot stronger and I hope to go even further.

I didn't quite make my goal of 25 pounds which is also 10% of my initial weight, but my plateaus and slow progress has made me learn and investigate what I really need.

Progress not perfection.

thank you all so much. mishamw- I took 10,000 iud everyday for 2.5 months before I had enough energy to forego some of my naps and exercise longer than 10 min. and my weight isn't affected until I get into 45 mn of exercise. and thanx, I hope to break 200 by summer 2013.

I also need Vitamin D (as recommended by the doctor) because of low levels. But that's common with PCOS!

A slow progress is usually the best, and hey at least you know you'll (hopefully) never see those pounds again. I personally would love to lose that much weight in a year!

Congrats on keeping up Sparking and all those good habits!

That is amazing!! emoticon You have done very well for the year! And 22.5 is very close to your goal and only one piece of the puzzle as you mentioned. You are able to do so much more! I am so proud of you! Keep moving! I believe in you! Hugs, Cathy
