Ok. I left sparkpeople and tried weight watchers (the NEW weight watchers where all the fruit is zero points, but I don't like fruit so it does me no good) and then did a serious serious attempt at Atkins - which I could also not stay on to save my life. So I am back at sparkpeople because when I am really working it - I can lose weight, even if slowly.
I am beginning to believe that what I need to do - is up the exercise instead of trying all these crazy diets that don't work. So I put on my google calendar at work that 4 times a day to walk around the hospital. My little route which takes 10 minutes has 6 flights of stairs. If i do the walk 4 times a day (every two hours or so) then I should have walked approx. 1 mile with 24 flights of stairs and a grand total of 40 minutes. We shall see
It is hard to go back to low fat and more carbs after eating low carbs and high fat. But I know how to do the spark people and if I am consistant I should be able to finally lose weight. It helps that it is nice outside.
