Moving!

Friday, June 01, 2012

Sooo.. after the events I described in my last post, I have started picking up all my stuff and gradually moving out to a new place.. it is NOT the most fun thing to do!! I am doing it slowly, that way I have the time to organize things before I bring some more but the good thing is that I am almost done!

I have a nicer, bigger space now and I should be able to be a lot more active once I am settled in, and I can have puppies too!!! which is awesome. :D

Food wise, I havent been doing bad, but I dont think so great either, just messy, skipping some meals and eating as I go, I have been counting calories still, but I am nor as orderly as normally.. I should have a new laptop today so hopefully I can go back to being on SP from home and not just from work, which will help me lots!

Anyways,

Just the rant for today.

Hope everyone has a great friday!

xoxo

You are brave! I've only moved once my whole life...and that took me a full two years to get completely done. So don't feel bad one bit about your version of "slowly moving". LOL Hope all goes well. Glad you're at least eating, but carry around something with you all the time that's good to snack on so you don't undo any of your hard work. emoticon

With all that you've been through lately, you're doing an amazing job and I'm glad that you're moving to another place. The puppies are a bonus!

Would love to see a picture of them. hint, hint

I think you are correct. Time will help; it has helped me. Yes, it is possible to feel safe again. Unfortunately, the mental scars will remain --- as you experienced with losing your handbag. It's sad but it's also good --- I know I've learned valuable lessons from the experiences.

And thanks. Have fun this weekend!

ECOAGE - I totally agree with you, I think I couldnt have put it better myself.. that is exactly how I feel, I have lost a sense of comfort in my own home, and I dont feel much safer on the street either because last year while I was going home from work a guy in a motorcycle drove by and pulled my handbag out of the car window, so I think I am not feeling much safe anywhere these days, however, I am not one to stay down when something bad happens, I know this will pass, it just takes a little time. Thank you so much for your good wishes!

BEARGODDESS - Thank you so much for your message, I am happy to inform that I didnt just get one puppy already lol I have four!!! haha One of them is my dog that I have had for over 10 years now, but because I had left the country for two years to study, and then came back and moved into an apartment, I couldnt have him, so he was with my mom.. now I can!! and its awesome.. really glad about it! :)

Hope you both get to enjoy your weeked as much as I plan to enjoy mine!

Well, I think under the circumstances you can be forgiven for going off track a bit! I'm very glad that you're moving to what we fervently hope is a much safer place. But I must admit the BEST part for me would be the PUPPIES!! Hope you find one soon!

Glad that you're pulling it all together life-wise. (and thanks for the friend add!)

Moving is stressful, be patient with yourself.

I used to live in a house that was rather isolated --- and it was broken into twice. We not "only" lost possessions but it changed my attitude and I lost a sense of comfort in my own home.

Good luck with your move and best wishes in your new home!
