I am rushing to get this blog in as I want to keep track
of my CHIP journey . When I am in tip top shape I know
that this will be , along with Sparkpeople and a supportive
friends and family network that got me there. I am feeling
AMAZING! Eating 90 to 98 % healthy is so good! I had a person
mention they are a diabetic and can not eat CHIP way. I
wanted to mention that 1/2 the CHIP people in my class
were there to help with diabetes and after one month some
were off their medications and most lowered the amount
taken. I do remember the CHIP staff having the diabetics
work closely with their Doc's ... every week I think they
had an check in. Since it is eating fruits and vegetables
and cutting back on salt and animal products most if not
all Docs are happy with the program.
However, I want to remind folks I am not trying to
convert anyone to what I am doing just tracking
my own progress.
