I logged 2.25 hours of kettlebell training in May, as I gradually work back into things after my March knee surgery. This is up from 1.5 hours in April.
I managed 700 swings (up from 426 swings in April) and 300 snatches (down from 350 in April). Because I still cannot do proper TGUs, so I have modified TGUs so I am doing half get ups (from the floor to up on one hand). I have added 60 second waiter carries with a 16 kg bell for shoulder work.
I am back to swinging a 16 and a 20 kg bell. Swinging only irritates my left knee if I do high intensity work (like 8 sets of 10 in 4 minutes), so I am still taking it easy. I am snatching light (8-16 kg) without any knee trouble.
