Better Day Today

Yesterday was hard! I was absolutely exhausted and finally crashed and took a nap after dinner. I thought that would really mess up my sleep, but it didn't - slept sound all night.
I'm still doing my exercise commitment (only eight days left of my 21 day commitment), but I've been so tired and stress eating like crrrrazy. The good news is that I'm stress eating with foods that are good for me, but still there comes a point when I just need to STOP eating.

I'm sure it's all the schedule changes I've gone through. Just trying to settle into the new norm for now.

My ankle is much better - much thanks to those of you who have offered ideas on keeping fit with a bum ankle. I really appreciate all your help.

I forgot how awesome Spark is. The one thing that has helped the most is when I feel weak, I get on here and process it with y'all (blog, status updates, etc.) There have been several times I've almost given up on something (exercise or eat something I shouldn't) and once I get on here and vent a bit about it, I find new resolve to move forward.

So thank you to my friends and team mates. You have no idea how much you inspire and encourage me.

Onward we go...

    I'm glad you're feeling better. And you can get there, you will get there. It's just a matter of adding positive new habits in slowly until they add up to a lifestyle. I don't think it's possible to make huge changes all at once and keep them all up long term unless there's a really earthshaking reason why (and sometimes not even then), and luckily we don't have that. You're doing incredibly well. I'm realising how many emotions are coming up for me as I'm doing this journey, and how we're probably all struggling with rollercoaster feelings as we follow it.

And congratulations on keeping up your exercise commitment and snacking on healthy food choices.
