Day 16

Today went amazingly well. Weighed myself and was happy the scale seems to be moving in the right direction. Ate yogurt for breakfast. Then went to lunch at an all-you-can-eat buffet. One of my co-workers was celebrating a birthday and per office-tradition we let her pick where. I admit on the drive over there I contemplated pretending I didn't feel well just so I could make sure I didn't over eat (which at this place is so easy to do). But hiding and sitting in the office by myself isn't me .

But I did well. I ate a salad then concentrated on the just cooked vegetables. No breads, fried chicken, baked spaghetti, or seafood. Did get about 3 ounces of their famous and sinfully delicious baked apple pie. I felt full but not miserable like I normally do. It was a good feeling about 4:00 when several co-workers were complaining about how stuffed they still were and how they had been worthless all afternoon because they ate so much.

Then for dinner: salad with chicken on top.

And I was able to get in some substantial exercise time.
