Wow, someone really pushed your button, didn't they? You know what I like about you? You don't pull your punches. Speaking as someone who usually does ( a learned response, not my normal personality), I find it very refreshing.

What made me fat was sheer laziness about doing something I didn't want to do...i.e., control my eating and exercise...and being stubborn about what I did want to do...i.e., work/play at my desk on the computer, read and watch tv. I just had to change my mind about what I wanted to do, and then it wasn't difficult. Although, my mind has been fighting me for control of this body in the past year and now wants to go back to reading and watching tv. So far I have the upper hand, though.

When I first went back to work outside my home after my twins were born, I gave my oldest the chore of getting some kind of dinner on the table. He was 11 years old, and he could do a few meals just fine. Maybe not the healthiest, but that was my fault for not teaching him the right recipes. I don't know if your almost-16-year-old would cooperate, or whether you'd trust him with it, but I'll bet it would stop him from asking that question. More than twenty years have passed since I did that and people now seem to think that children should be protected from anything that could possibly be dangerous, like using a stove, until they're 18. At which time it's ok to send them halfway around the world with a loaded gun, but that's another rant. Anyway, I hated that question too. My standard answer to 'what's for dinner' was 'whatever YOU plan to cook'.

Good luck!!!

    Hugs. Thanks.
Overall, I'm doing well. Just not sure about the spouse situation.
And yes, I need to clean the kitchen and the living room.
And I want more income.
Great vlog and very thought provoking for me.
