My first month on here has been an over all success. I did make it through Memorial Day weekend without tasting even 1 bite of graduation cake. That is AMAZING! I was VERY mindful at all 4 parties we went to about what I was eating and kept repeating to myself that I just needed a lean protein, complex carb then just whatever additional fruit or veggies I needed to feel satisfied. It actually worked for the most part. I did split a candy bar when DH and I went to the movies Sunday night. We'll see if I hit my ambitious weight goal for the month, but either way I've made some good progress. I also got a glimpse into how far I still have to go. That will keep me motivated to not stray too far. I so easily fall into old, bad habits almost without thinking!
