I am trying so hard!~~

I plan ahead each day to exercise and what i am going to eat..and I am eating much better and much less. Sometimes i mess up but its not a lot. The hard thing is by the end of the day..My legs hurt a lot.! My hamstring on both legs and the joint on the front too.. i am not going to give up.. i am finally going to get to soak in a hot tub with my gf when she gets hers next week and i am hoping that will help me.
I did a walk run work out video and finally running a lot more, which i am so happy about. On Sundays Husband and i are going bike riding and i am trying to go faster and longer, not trying to over do it but i want to be able to go 60 mins like i used to do. Its so hard when you feel like you have to start over and then you have pain as well.. i know its arthritis since i had so many falls, so now just have to work thru it and get much better..! I Know i will do this.. and i am blessed to have hubby to help me !

    You really do have determination to be working through the discomfort! I can totally relate to the no insurance and no dr. issue. How nice that your friend is getting a hot tub this week! and that you'll get to soak in it! I've heard the warm water is very comforting to those with arthritis.

    Ah, I understand how it is to have pain and still persevere!! It's a tough battle. You ARE fortunate to have a helpful partner in that husband of yours, too! When we keep doing 'what is right... to the best of our ability' we can feel good just DOING that! I'm cheering for you!! You can do it!

    Hi Geri,
Please don't push yourself so that you could be laid up for a good amount of time. I thought you were going to see a Doctor for some testing . There are no Free Clinics in the area that you could attend ?
I am so happy you lost the weight that you have but I really think you push yourself way to hard you don't want to over do and not be able to exercise at all. You seem to be hooked on exercising but you can push yourself sometimes to hard. You look real nice in your pictures so how much more weight are you hoping to lose.
Take Care of yourself wouldn't want to see anything happen to you.

    It sounds like you are doing the best you can. Just take it day by day, and if you mess up a little, acknowledge it and move on.

My mom is in your position right now as far as insurance. She is one year away from medicare, but has medical issues going on right now and has to pay cash. She has little money also. I feel so badly for people without insurance.

Take care and keep at it.

    The hard thing is we dont have a doctor .. no insurance.. and not a lot of money so doing the best that i can..

    you CAN do it. . .but you should address the pain. . .if realy arthritis, a doc can help you. . .if over-strain, you need to slow down and/or pamper your legs a bit. . .the pain will slow you down in the end - deal with it 8-))
