I have been giving myself excuse after excuse for the last 9 months as of why I am not working on getting healthy. The number one excuse is that I don't have time. I am a full time college student and a full time mom. Time can get tight sometimes but if I can make time to watch TV I know I can make time to exercise!!! I got a gym membership in the fall and only went 3 times in the last 6 months. I have continued with my unhealthy eating habits. I have gained 8 pounds as a result. Well I AM DONE with that. I have started walking everyday and have really enjoyed the time outside. I am going to start going to the YMCA 3 times a week and swimming with my daughter once a week. So that's the plan.
The food is where I know that I am going to have to really work. I am totally addicted to carbs and I really want to reduce the carbs in my diet. I have been working on that this week and it has been hard. I feel that I did okay this week and will continue working on it. I have set the goal of losing 30 pounds by the end of September. I feel that this is realistic and have complete confidence that I can make it a reality:) Here we go!!!
