Don't you hate when you can't sleep at night?

Wednesday, May 30, 2012

gosh, for the last several days I haven't been able to sleep all night. I fall asleep but then wake up and can't go back to sleep.
It's hard when you then have to be around active grandkids the next day.
Ho hum! I must be getting old.
The positive part is that I am so tired today that I should sleep well tonight.
Hope all my sparks buddies are doing well.
Sallie

Oh, I know what you mean! We have had hail storms here in Texas for 3 nights in a row! I feel terrible when I don't get enough sleep, and by the end of the week I'm exhausted.

I had the same problem Monday, Tuesday and today!!

I am blaming it on the heat factor and heavier workload. Exercised today to see if it helps me tonight. Good luck with snooze time tonight. emoticon

I don't sleep well when something is bothering me. Maybe you should just clear your mind before going to bed

Sallie, I just read in the Woman's Wold magazine ( May issue ) if you eat fruit that has the natural sugar fructose in it increases production of calming brain chemicals making you feel sleepy within 20 minutes says to eat 1 cup before bedtime. Another article was eating oatmeal 90 minutes before you go to bed.
    Anything is worth a try.
You will be back to paradise before you know it.

Sometimes I get like that, even when I'm really tired - it's usually because the room is too warm and/or stuffy. Everyone's different but I find that I sleep best in a cool-temp room with a fan circulating the air. Hope you sleep better tonight!

Thankfully I don't have that issue. Once my head hits that pillow I am out like a light until that nasty alarm sounds off! But I agree that would be a terrible predicament!
