3 Months progress & Race #7

At the end of February, I read a book called to "Made to Crave" that changed my life. I've since lost 25lbs and shaved 4 minutes off my 5k time.
While looking at photos from our latest race (hubby & I have a goal of running one a month for 12 months), I took a look at pics from just 3 months ago...I'm seeing and feeling a difference. Three months ago I was struggling through the whole race; this week's race, I felt comfortable enough to talk with other runners and cheer people on when they needed it. Yes, I'm still a 'back-of-the-pack-er' but I had fun and totally enjoyed the race.
I have back problems and some joint issues so I wasn't sure that this would be possible; now there are tinges of hope and that's exciting. I just want to encourage everyone to keep trying until you find what works for YOU. Don't give up!! If I can do it,
