I'm still chugging along, some days better than others :)
My clothes is starting to fit again without making me look like a stuffed sausage lol. My knees have stopped cracking and hurting. I'm not huffing and puffing like I was. Basically I feel a million times better, and I'm not even close to my goal!
I think the sunny weather is also helping. It makes me feel alive. It seems I haven't been "alive" for awhile-not sure if that makes sense.
I am in need of experimenting a little with my food. I am one who finds something that works for me and I end up sticking with it, but I'm seriously getting bored of the food. I have been on PInterest a lot, and there is so much stuff out there. Last week I tried 2 crock pot recipes. One was blah, not good at all ( in Will's and my opinion). The other one, for pot roast, was pretty good...and easy. This week I plan on making a lime chicken one, which sounds delish- I hope it doesn't disappoint.
I've also learned that I am a sweets junkie. Well I actually already knew that but now it's confirmed even more. For example, I will rather splurge on something sweet, such as chocolate, than something savory. Lately it has been a challenge by Will brought home some ice cream and as much as I am trying to eat in portions, sometimes it gets the best of me. But I'm learning. I am thinking about doing a no sugar challenge for June. Just to stop thinking about that treat all day. I also would like to lose 12 lbs by mid July. We are having a mini vacation here in Anaheim. I'm super excited, we haven't had a vaca in a long time. We will be staying at the Ca hotel in Disneyland for 5 days. It is beautiful so I cannot wait!
I am also contemplating doing a salad challenge. I subscribe to the blog "oh she glows" and she will be starting one on June 1st, and I thought it would be a good idea. Basically just have a salad everyday- I figured I need more veggies in my life, that is the truth!
Anyone interested in doing either challenge with me?
