Wow- I've been MIA for 3 weeks now from Spark and normal life, but I'm back. It felt great to be home doing all my normal stuff today including a workout.
After working 12 out of 14 days, the boys and I took a week off for camping. Nothing like a week in the woods to clear your head and revive your spirit!! We all came home a little browner, with a few more bug bites than before, and grateful for our beds.
I looove our state! There are so many great places that I never get tired of visiting.
Okay, on to the important part, how am I doing? I haven't weighed in a month, and quite honestly don't plan on it until next week. I don't think I'll be up any. I've done well with moderation and getting my water. The hardest part was sticking to my exercise routine. It's too hot to run so I've moved it inside on the gazelle when I'm not mowing, hiking, or swimming. My schedule was so crazy the past few weeks that I just couldn't exercise the 4-5 times a week I've been use to, but I did what I could.
Now, I'm back to my routine! What a difference in me.... I knew those 3 weeks OUT would be hard to stick to my regiment, but I've also learned that it'll be okay. That I can trust myself to do well most days and get back to my routine as soon as possible. Those things were always impossible before.
It's good to be back. I'm looking forward to a summer of special projects and little trips, but I'm also looking ahead to my next half marathon and the training schedule that starts in September.
I hope y'all missed me. I missed you.
