Week 2

Okay so maybe week one was longer than 7 days but I feel like I got a good handle on where I am right now with calorie intake. I am over nearly every day. Not surprising. What was surprising to me was that I was near as far over and I thought I would be. I also learned that just changing out some regular pop for diet pop or water may help pull me back into my caloric range.

With that said, this week (which again may be longer than 7 days but I don't care as long as it makes for a long lasting change) I will switch out regular pop for diet pop. I know what you are saying...you should be changing to water...well, that may be my task for next week. Baby steps make for long lasting changes. So, diet pop it is and just to set me up for week 3...log all water intake. Then I know where I stand should I choose to make water the change for week 3. What is your step this week?

    Making small changes (like going to diet for you) is absolutely theee secret (you know, if there is one). I credit my weight loss to incorporating whole grains (in place of white bread, rice, and pasta), Greek yogurt, and tons of water into my diet. Swaps, not deprivation. emoticon

As for my steps, I plan my week (diet and exercise) and find it much easier to stick to that way. I'm a planaholic. Best of luck to you in week 2! emoticon
