Day 3 Spring into Summer Bootcamp

Tuesday, May 29, 2012

Last night I was extremely tired and cranky and couldn't seem to get warm until I went to bed and turned on the electric blanket. Other than that I had a very good day sparkwise. I was within my cals, drank my water, exercised, and got enough sleep. This morning though, I woke up with a horrible headache and stuffed up. Once I got Lavinia on the bus, I took some Sinutab and went back to sleep. I didn't wake up until after 10:30. When I got up I was so lethargic and barely had enough energy to lift my coffee cup to my lips. It seemed like every bit of movement was such a chore. My Dad pointed out an article in the newspaper about Immuno-care supplements. I was thinking of trying out. I never used to have allergies but this last year has been horrendous. I thought it might be worth a try. I do need to tell my doctor I am using it if I do because it will make most medications more potent so I may not need as much warfarin. It would be a good time to try because I haven't been regulated since missing those dosed the other week so I have regular blood tests. Anyway. I made it through my exercises today with great effort since the littlest thing I do today required so much effort. Now I do feel better. Perhaps I am sweating the toxins out of me.
I am leaving to go to town early today to hand out more resumes. I already passed around resumes for my preferred jobs, and full time jobs. Now I'm just handing in anywhere there is work. Even if I get a part time job, maybe I can pick up extra shifts. Anyway, the hunt continues.
Then I shall go to Starbucks for a caramel machiatto and study a little more for my test tonight. Thank goodness I studied a lot yesterday because I don't know how much I can cram today.

I know I'm 60's old school because I spent hours and hours plugging the colorful plastic pegs into your best friend's Lite-Brite wishing you had one of your own. I completely did but in the 80's or late 70's, not the 60's.

That could just be a more ordinary "summer cold" which have been going around. I usually find myself tired, chilled and the like when my body is fighting an infection, even if I don't end up fully sick.

Hope you're feeling better soon.
