Thank you for everyone's encouragement after my last post. I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day. I know I did. My father and I have sort of "adopted" the grave of a Civil War veteran since none of our relatives are buried in town. We go every year and clean up his grave and leave flowers. We also had the chance to see WWII planes flying over the city in formation. That was really neat.
Today I've gotten almost all of my exercising done. Lucy and I went for a short walk, rode the recumbent bike for 20 minutes (got 4 miles in - I need to get back up to 6 miles), did a dance exercise video game for 30 minutes, and the Biggest Loser Jump Start Workout for 20 minutes. This is the first time I've ever moved on to the second week for my BL videos. I'm really proud about that. Lucy and I will hopefully go on 3 more walks today (two long and one short, I'm going to have a worn out puppy!) and my dad and I are going to go biking today also on the Bob Kerry Bridge to see how things in Iowa are looking. Last year the Iowa side of the bridge was closed because of the flooding so it'll be nice to see how things are looking now.
So far I've gotten in 4 glasses of water and I'm doing pretty well on my food intake I think. Right now, focusing on the water.
