Dinner out yet again ....

Tuesday, May 29, 2012

My second eldest son turned 38 today and we went to the local pub for dinner. I went easy on points today, and I haven't tracked what I have eaten yet, but I have some of my weekly points left and I went for a 25 minute walk with Max today.

We met our vet down at the pub tonight and I am organising to have Max groomed tomorrow if they have an appointment.

Internet access is slow at the moment. There is DH, DS, DGS, DGD and myself all using my internet ... we are down to dial-up speed! It is painful, but when I phoned to maybe change the plan, apparently the plan I am on is better than what they can offer now. So dial-up it is for the next few days until 2 June!

I think that I am finally realising that I am retired. I took DGD to her district athletics carnival, then to the shops, came home and had a healthy breakfast and de-caf coffee. Made myself a good salad for lunch, did some housework and watched some TV. I am finally relaxing a bit, and sleeping in most days (that is til about 7.30 or 8 - not like the 5.30 alarm before). LOL

No wine tonight, I drove and just drank soda water.

So until tomorrow .... emoticon
