And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
(Lee Greenwood)

Thanks to the men and women who have sacrificed life, health, families, jobs to protect my freedom. emoticonMemorial Day seemed rather low key this year. I just finished watching some neighbors setting off fireworks in their yard.

I spent the day cleaning, doing laundry and finishing some altered paint cans that were ordered for a graduation (this Friday). Today was my day off from exercising; I’m learning not to feel guilty for resting. My body needs a day off; I hope it doesn’t impact my weigh-in tomorrow.

While you may have taken a break from the typical exercise you did get some with the cleaning.

Taking today off exercise shouldn't change anything on your weigh in tomorrow. I'm wishing the scale to have a VERY low number for you!!!

I did one load of laundry and a little shopping today. I should have done way more, but I just didn't have much energy today. Barely got my workout done today! Maybe I should have taken the day off, too!

Good luck in the morning!!!!

I love that song! Makes me cry every time. Low key can be good, and yes rest and recovery time is very important.
