And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
(Lee Greenwood)
Thanks to the men and women who have sacrificed life, health, families, jobs to protect my freedom.

Memorial Day seemed rather low key this year. I just finished watching some neighbors setting off fireworks in their yard.
I spent the day cleaning, doing laundry and finishing some altered paint cans that were ordered for a graduation (this Friday). Today was my day off from exercising; I’m learning not to feel guilty for resting. My body needs a day off; I hope it doesn’t impact my weigh-in tomorrow.
