Making Progress

I blogged on the 25th that my return to exercise after a week off was kicking my butt. Today I walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes without stopping. A first for me!! I have been riding my stationary bike in 5 minute increments for 30 minutes but today decided to walk on the treadmill. I had been able to do 20 minutes without stopping but today talked myself into continuing first for an additional 5 minutes then when I got to 25 minutes I talked myself into going on for 5 more minutes. I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WIth that 30 minutes of exercise I also completed the President's Fitness Challenge. The challenge was to complete 6 out of 8 weeks of 30 minutes of exercise 5 out of 7 day a week. I never thought there would come a day when i would do such a momentous fitness challenge. Me, the person who hated exercise. I committed to the challenge while watching The Biggest Loser and I did it!!!!! Talk about making progress!!!
