Garden photos Updated 5.27.12

Sunday, May 27, 2012

I wandered around the yard with my camera today then added the pics to my album on FB. The first part of the album is from April 8th and the last dozen are from today. It seems like things are growing fast now=)
I made some hanging moss baskets that are filling in nicely and loving all the attention they get in the greenhouse. Little do they know, they will be moving outside in a few weeks.
Every time I go to the grocery store I wander the garden section and more plants end up in my cart. It's like getting a new toy every weekend;}

    I love your garden. I've got veggies growing, I'm not much of a green thumb person.

    I am impressed! Your entire yard is a huge garden. Golden raspberries, I've never even heard of. We used to grow raspberries (red) and boisenberries in our yard, with a cherry tree that was grafted to make 3 different kinds of cherries, Rainiers, Bings, and Queen Anne's. They were all good, but I liked the boisenberries and the Bings the best. I love the violas, I call them pansies, and was instantly in love with Abbey. Reminded me of my Ghost, who had darker colors, but seems to be of the same heritage. He loved nice warm places, too. Could never figure out why an animal with fur on wanted to go lay in the scorching hot sun. Had to keep him in mostly due to sunburn on the nose and possible blistering of paws from the hot concrete.
Anyway, good job on the garden. It was fun to see.
