The scale is moving and my exercise is improving!!

So tracking my calories to make sure I am eating enough is helping the scale go down! I am waiting until my weigh in day to weigh again and post my results.
I started walking at 1 mile per day.. then worked up to 1.5 miles per day.. then 2 miles per day. Well, today is the beginning of trying to walk 3 miles per day for 6 days a week.
I thought it would take me about 75 minutes to complete this including THE HILL OF DOOOOMMMM.
I am so happy to report that it only took me 67 minutes! I can't wait until I can do it in under an hour. I know if I was on the treadmill I can finish 3 miles in under an hour-- but on my hilly roads where I live it takes longer for me!
So ===== YAY ME!
My great kiddos (ages 9 & 10) also completed this 3 miles with me!
In two days the kids and I will be going out of town with my husband on one of his jobs. I am hoping that I continue to exercise and eat right while out of town.
oh and hey JAIRIE813-- good job on your no soda streak! I am also on a no soda streak-- 31 days since I have had a soda! We rock!
