A New Hope

Sunday, May 27, 2012

Hi, everyone! Wow! I can't believe I've been MIA for a HALF A YEAR! Where does the time go? Needless to say, it was NOT a good decision to "take a spark break", since I weigh 8 pounds higher now than when I left. Grrrr...

But all that is ancient history. Time to move forward! I am SO EXCITED because I made the decision to join Weight Watchers yesterday, went to a meeting, and joined. What a huge difference from the last time I tried WW about 10 years ago or so. No more of those exchanges that used to undermine the perfectionist in me (hmmm...is it a 1/2 fat and 1 carb or 1 fat? How do I fit in another milk exchange with no calories left?). This Points Plus plan could have been tailor made for me, especially with the extra 49 points a week to spend however I want. I can actually go to Dairy Queen once a week and not feel guilty! Woo Hoo!

Have a great day, everyone! I'm looking forward to reconnecting with you!

So glad you are back! There are many good weight watchers teams here you may want to check out. Then you'll be able to connect with people at your meetings as well as others on spark following the plan. Not sure if you have a smart phone, but I know that you can track your WW points on that too. All the best as you start your new program! emoticon
