Day Five and Six

Yesterday was a rough day. I worked from home, so I was expecting to get some exercise in. Nope. I didn't eat badly, but I got bored around 2pm, so I grabbed two slices of pizza. Shouldn't be in the house, but I couldn't tell my hubby no. At the end of the day, I was over my calories by almost 400 and didn't work out. The only activity I had was carrying my daughter for a bit.

Today was much better. We even went to a new sandwich place for lunch. I was over my calories by about 70, but I burned approx. 280. I love my elliptical. It hurts, but my bottom is starting to take shape (rather than flat). :-P

This sandwich place is very basic, but WOW!!! Po boy sandwiches, gumbo, rice and beans, roasted corn chowder, pecan pie. SOOOO good. My hubby had the catfish po boy. I don't like catfish, but I could tear that thing up. I had the roast beef po boy. Probably the best roast beef you could ever find outside of your mom's kitchen. The chowder was to die for, and the pecan pie was more pecan than pie. If you live near Severn, Maryland, please stop by the New Orleans Kitchen on Telegraph Road. Amazing!!!!!!!!! Next time we go, I think we are going to share a sandwich and chowder.

Anyway. Enough of that. My new addiction, thanks to Whole Foods and my husband...carob chips kind of like chocolate, but not exactly. At first they grossed me out because I thought it was chocolate, but a day or two laterite decided they were pretty good.

Not sure what the plan is for tomorrow. Exercise is definitely necessary. It's making me feel really good.
