Not a good day, but it was fun!!

Saturday, May 26, 2012

Not a good day nutrition wise. It started ok but my cousins son came home from Afghanistan and it turned into a party. I was good with my food choices, but I did drink a little too much. I had a 1/2 pork steak, corn on the cob and salad. But I did have a few beers and some wine.

I'm very thankful he got to come home. He is retiring from the Military soon. I thank him for serving our country and he had tears in his eyes.

Please, thank a vet or someone you know (or not) in the Military. They do sacrifice so much for us!!!

THANK YOU FOR SERVING OUR COUNTRY!!! emoticon

I'm sure your cousin's son appreciated having all of you there to celebrate with him, and to show him you were happy to have him back home. God Bless him for serving his country!

If there is a reason to drink and celebrate, this seems like a good one. Keep up the good work!

    That's a lovely blog.

First of all, there are no fat grams in alcohol so that's a plus. emoticon

Your Military celebratory day sounds similar to our Anzac Day.

Please thank him for me. My husband served in the military. He was in the Marine Corps. He did two tours; one in Kuwait during 2003 and another in Iraq in 2005. I'm glad your cousins son made it home! God bless him!! emoticon
