It's been an interesting week, primarily due to some health issues I had. On Wednesday night, I noticed a huge cut in the right side of my field of vision. Then I developed a headache and started having trouble speaking. Needless to say, my husband and I were a bit freaked out. We went to the ER and I spent Wednesday and Thursday in the hospital, being worked up for a stroke. Thank God it turned out to only be a Complex Migraine. I've never had a migraine before in my life but evidently now it's going to be a "thing" for me. I met with the neurologist, who advised me to clear my diet down to bland bare bones and add things in, keeping a symptom diary, to see if any foods are triggers for me.

How do I diet with this new restriction? I'm not sure what the heck is going on with me. I'm grateful that it wasn't a stroke. I was seriously scared for a while there. But I'm a little irritated to keep having these health issues! It's a lot harder to count points when your head feels like it's going to explode.

I am so sorry you have to deal with another health issue. The one thing I will say about a few health scares I have had is that it does tend to up my resolve to become physically stronger and more active. In a way, this restriction on your food intake (as difficult as it sounds) could be an opportunity to clear the clutter from your eating. I hope your health continues to get better and better. Take care.

oh love know how you feel whjen i had my paralise last year they thought i had a stroke as well and instead they found an aneurysma and later tumour.so was grateful i had the test for stroke.so glad it wasn´t love butr know how scary it is.yes it is very hard to concentrate on looseing weight when your head feels like it will explode i am trying under the same conditions and it is hard.maybe until you find the course it might be wise to concentrate more on maitaining than on trying to loose as stress can add to headaches.also lack of sleep so try and get enough sleep as well.when sunny wear sunglasses that also helps.hope you find out soon what it is love.take care and keep smiling emoticon

I used to have migraines. They happened so seldom, I was never able to determine what caused them. I hope you feel better and can determine why they occur. Definitely not a fun thing to have. Good luck,

Mary
